Charlie, also known as Carlos Navas
Charlie, in real life.

Hey, I’m Charlie.

The internet is still amazing.

And I still get a kick out of making things for it.

I’m a multimedia engineer turned product builder. I help teams solve real problems, make useful things, and figure out what comes next. Sometimes, I also make games.

Product person by day. “I could build that” person by night.

The project folder.

A few things I’ve put on the internet:

  • Whirlie

A daily puzzle with a twist. Stack blocks on a pivot. Try to keep your balance.

  • CINCO

Five boards. Five-cell paths. One score to chase. A little daily workout for your brain.

  • Atlas

Hiring with less bureaucracy. One clear workspace for roles, candidates, and your team.

  • NoteCal

A little space for every day. Your notes and tasks, together in one continuous calendar.

  • Yaplet

A little nudge to listen, or speak up. A Chrome extension that estimates your share of the conversation in Google Meet. Everything stays in your browser.

Some things are useful. Some are just fun. All started with “what if?”

Graveyard.

Past projects. A few lessons that stuck around.

  • Fuchiball

A little Android game about keeping a fuchi in the air. Beach vibes, tricky bounces, and one more high score to chase.

Built in 2014 with Andrés Suárez and Kevin Pérez at Fluxus Media. Five months of turning a simple idea into a game, complete with characters, powers, and a tropical world.

  • Doo

An app we built at Greenggers to connect people in Bogotá with neighborhood businesses—deliveries, reservations, and local services.

My first real run at building a startup, from coding the Android app to taking it out into the world. We also built Doo Pets, a pivot connecting pets, their owners, and veterinary clinics.

A work in progress.

I started by making websites, games, and mobile apps with friends. Then I co-founded a startup and learned a few things the hard way. Turns out, building a product and building a business are two very different adventures.

At Truora, I grew into product leadership: defining problems, working closely with users, and helping teams build across LatAm. Today, at Somos Internet, I’m working on product, growth, and innovation—and infrastructure that can actually make a difference.

The longer, slightly more professional version is on LinkedIn.

“That’s not a problem.”

A phrase I heard a lot in my first months as a PM. A pretty good place to start, actually.

Right now

Based in Colombia. Helping build a better internet as VP of Product Growth & Innovation at Somos Internet.

After hours: making small tools, tinkering with puzzles, following my curiosity.

Still figuring things out. Still building cool stuff.
